6th–8th Grades

DV8 is our weekend teaching and small-group environment for 6th through 8th grade students. Life can be, at the same time, challenging and adventurous for middle school students. That’s why we create our DV8 weekend worship environment to provide them with opportunities to learn about and authentically live out their faith. Our weekend experiences include creative and biblically sound speakers, dynamic worship experience—complete with a live band, authentic small-group discussions, and fun games. Our goal is to help our students grow in their relationship with Jesus and teach them to figure out how to make wise decisions and maintain healthy friendships. Our ministry verse is Romans 12:1-2,

“Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, [a]acceptable to God, which is your [b]spiritual service of worship. 2 And do not be conformed to this [c]world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may [d]prove what the will of God is, that which is good and [e]acceptable and perfect.”

We want our middle school students to follow the example of Jesus and deviate from or not conform to the world around them! DV8 meets in the Warehouse at 5:45p on Saturdays and at 8:15a and 9:55a on Sundays.

2:52 is our high-school ministry. It is our dream that our high-school students will experience community and personal ministry while learning to make wise choices and live in such a way that they influence their friends and peers as they radically live out their faith. We want our high-school students to grow and mature and emulate the life of Jesus in Luke 2:52.

2:52 meets in the Warehouse on Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. and Sundays at 11:45 a.m.

Welcome to DV8

We’re so excited for you to join us! DV8 is an environment where our middle-school students (6th–8th grades) meet to grow in their relationship with Christ and their peers. During our weekend experience, there is dynamic worship, creative elements, special guest artists, large-group teaching, and small-group discussion. If you are new, we will ask you fill out an information card and give parents the option for self-checkout or parent pick-up.

We believe that our students have the capacity to serve in the local church and make a difference in the lives of others. We want them to live out their faith and put their faith in action by serving at the weekend services in various ministries of the church.

Through serving, our students will have the opportunity to grow their faith and demonstrate the love of Jesus. If you are interested in serving in please click here to fill out an application. A staff member from the ministry area you applied for will contact you about available volunteer positions.

We need dedicated partners to serve in the following areas:

  • Small-Group Leaders - If you have a heart to build healthy spiritual relationships - in and out of weekly service - with our youth, while walking alongside their parents, this may be the place for you. But keep in mind "Its all about the kids!"
  • AV/Sound Ministry - If you have the desire to have our youth services run with the same audio/video efficiency as main service, while serving as a potential mentor, we could use your expertise.
  • Social Media Ministry - They say social media is for the kids, but we still need an adult, or two, to assist our students on posting photos and information to the ministry social media pages.
  • Guest Service Ministry - We get new students visiting our services on a weekly basis and we need help in making them feel as comfortable as possible.
  • Planning team - If you can coordinate great youth-based events that will keep students engaged during service, we need your expertise!

Student Leadership

Our student leadership team meets twice a month to teach and develop leadership skills in our students. Students have the potential to be strong leaderships among their peers and in their local community. When they learn about leadership they can identify areas of their lives that need attention or improvement and make those changes. Our student leaders can be the driving force behind great change and make a difference in the lives of those around them. Leadership development will produce character, spiritual growth, purpose, and maturity in our students. Some will find themselves in leadership roles within their team. For a few, it will lead to making sacrifices that will change the world.

Outreach

Every month, led by our student leaders, our students go out in our community and work on a service project that will help enhance the quality of life in our community. We want our students to put their faith into action by engaging in various projects, service, educational, and community development activities. These activities help our students realize their God-given potential as uniquely gifted individuals in their family, community, and relationship with God through faith in Jesus Christ.

Welcome to 2:52

252 is our high-school ministry. Our goal is to create environments where high-school students are encouraged to be influencers with their peers and friends, to live out their faith, to maintain healthy relationships, make wise choices, and to experience personal ministry through serving others.
